As an anonymous chat service, our goal is to collect as little information as possible. The information we collect is purely for the technical operation of the Service.

• Anonymous User ID: When you start a chat session, we use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to assign a temporary, anonymous user ID to your session. This ID is not linked to any personal information like your name, email, or IP address. It is used solely to distinguish you from other users during a chat session.
• Chat Content: The messages you send are transmitted through our servers (hosted on Google Firebase) to be delivered to the other user in your chat. We do not permanently store your chat messages. Messages are deleted from our systems shortly after the chat session ends.
• Interests: If you choose to provide interests for matchmaking, this information is used only for the purpose of finding a chat partner with similar interests. This data is temporarily held while you are in the matchmaking queue and is not stored long-term.
• Technical Data: We use Google Firebase services, which may automatically collect certain technical information, such as device type and browser information, for the purpose of providing and securing the service. This data is aggregated and not used to personally identify you.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in the following ways:

• To operate and maintain the Service.
• To facilitate matchmaking between users based on shared interests.
• To ensure the security of our Service and prevent abuse, through services like Firebase App Check.
• To monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Service.

• Third-Party Service Providers: We use Google Firebase to power our backend infrastructure. Google's use of information is governed by its own privacy policy.
